Charitable Giving

Chinburg Builders is proud of its commitment to the communities in which it builds, and has a generous charitable contributions program. Some of the past year’s recipients have included the Greater Piscataqua Community Foundation, the Housing Partnership, the United Way of the Greater Seacoast, Exchange City, Mill Pond Center for the Arts, Art-Speak, the New Thalian Players, Hands Across the Merrimack, and many other local initiatives. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the company matched an employee fundraiser of $2,500 to donate a total of $5,000 toward the hurricane relief efforts of the Red Cross. The company also encourages community involvement through paid volunteerism (one donated work day per year), flex time for serving on boards, coaching teams, and participating in civic and business events.
